Consultant Momentum 201

Consultant Momentum 201 is the deep dive. Graduates of 101 (or anyone with equivalent experience) arrive with a signature talk, the business basics in place, and a few bookings behind them. 201 goes further on two fronts: it builds the real business infrastructure — entity, insurance, and contracts at a level that holds up on bigger stages — and it builds the growth engine that turns a speaking career into a full business: networking that leads to repeat bookings, sponsorships that diversify income, a natural pipeline from podium to paying client, and a consulting practice with real service tiers instead of one-off favors.

Who it's for:

  • Consultant Foundations 101 graduates, or anyone who already has a talk and at least one booking or consulting client, in any field
  • Speaker-consultants ready to move from occasional speaking engagements and clients to a real, repeatable business with recurring revenue
  • Anyone who's been speaking or consulting for a while but is leaving money and relationships on the table
  • Speaker Consultants that feel they own their own job, rather than running a real business.

Who it's NOT for:

  • Total beginners with no talk, no pitch, no positioning yet  or a small number of clients — start with 101
  • People looking for personalized legal, tax, or insurance advice. This is general education, not a substitute for your own attorney, CPA, or agent

Overall Course Objectives

By the end of the seven sessions, attendees will:

  1. Have a business entity, insurance plan, and contract set built for higher-stakes engagements, not just a starter version
  2. Run a lean but automated tech stack for leads, invoicing, and client communication
  3. Turn any event (speaking at it or just attending) into new relationships and repeat opportunities
  4. Evaluate and pitch a sponsorship or hybrid sponsor/speaker deal
  5. Convert talk attendees into consulting conversations with a natural, non-salesy system
  6. Design a service ladder that includes both one-time coaching/consulting and recurring retainer offers, and price it
